09.06.2026 – Isaiah Rashad Brings Introspective Southern Hip-Hop to The Pageant

Isaiah Rashad will bring his reflective brand of Southern hip-hop to The Pageant on September 6 as part of TDE Presents’ Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip, with ALEMEDA scheduled to join the bill.

Rashad has spent much of his career demonstrating that Southern rap does not have to choose between atmosphere and lyrical substance. His music can be hazy and relaxed, but underneath that surface are songs concerned with ambition, depression, family, addiction, survival and the complicated process of growing older. That combination has helped him develop a particularly devoted audience.
The Pageant should give those records room to breathe. At a larger scale than Red Flag or Delmar Hall but still more intimate than an arena, the venue allows a rapper with a deep catalog to build a concert around mood as well as spectacle.
Rashad’s connection to Top Dawg Entertainment placed him within one of the most influential rap label rosters of his generation, but his Tennessee background and understated personality helped him establish an identity distinct from his labelmates. Projects such as Cilvia Demo, The Sun’s Tirade and The House Is Burning strengthened that reputation.
For St. Louis fans who prefer hip-hop that rewards close listening, the September 6 show may be one of the fall’s strongest choices. Doors are listed for 7 p.m., with the show scheduled for 8 p.m.
